Rates

Now is the time to try to find those better car insurance rates out there because chances are you are paying way too much for your car insurance. It just makes sense in this economy to try to find a better deal out there and that requires a little research but that little research can save you $100's of dollars every year possible so it is well worth it.

Most people have that insurance company that they have always had which means it is probably the insurance company that their parents had and you just never bothered to change it. But there are so many out there to choose from these days. And you always want to compare those rates and the internet not only makes that possible but it makes it so easy for one to do that!

Smaller Place

The Author of this post is Darius Boone

I am trying to get all my utilities straight before I move next Monday. I’ve got the electricity set to be turned on, and supposedly the water bill is part of the garbage collectionbill? Isn’t that strange? Something about them both being from the city. I’ve always had to pay to two different companies. Anyway, I’ve got the phone hooked up, and they even let me keep my same number! How sweet is that. I am looking into cable tv in my area, and trying to get that all squared away as well. I’d like for the move to be as seamless as possible. I’m trying to take care of all the busy work details now, so that once it is moving day, I can just focus on unpacking and getting used to the place. I really hope I will like it. It is much smaller than what I’ve been living in, but that was kind of the whole point. I needed to find something cheaper, and in this town, cheaper equals smaller.

College

Guest post written by my buddy Aldo Mays

I decided to go to a small college in the middle of nowhere. I wanted to be far enough away from my family to feel like I was becoming independent, but close enough to go home if I needed to. The college I found was exactly what I was looking for. I moved into a small one bedroom apartment and set up all of my utilities. Although my mom helped me set everything up, all of the utilities were in my name. That alone already made me feel more grown up. I needed to find internet that was available in my area. I met one of my neighbors in the parking lot and asked her was she used for internet. She told me to get wild blue satellite internet service. She said that she uses it and she is able to do everything she needs for school. I decided to go ahead and have it set up. My classes do not start for a few more days, so I have plenty of time to finish decorating my apartment and figure out where the closest grocery store is. I am so excited about being in college.

Piano

Trying to teach some kids piano is completely hopeless. Some kids can't play they have no retention or focus ability and it is not my responsibility to teach them how to focus - if they come to me and want to learn that is fine but I will only take those that want to learn and I won't waste my time on any other - it is a complete waste of my time!

Tests

Why did they do away with children taking spelling tests -I just don't get it - they need that repetition and they need to really learn and memorize the way words are spelled - they can't just write for the rest of their live phonetically that just is stupid and doesn't make any sense especially in the real world.
